GUWAHATI, June 21 - The University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) will organise a �Group Monitoring Workshop for INSPIRE Internship Science Camp Organisers� from June 25 to 26 at the USTM campus at 9th Mile, Meghalaya.

Over 120 nationally and internationally acclaimed scientists, who are coordinators of the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE), will attend the workshop along with 50 scientists from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and vice chancellors and principals from universities and colleges from the North East. This is for the first time that this annual conference is being held in the NE.

INSPIRE is a flagship programme of the Union Ministry of Science and Technology aimed at generating and nurturing a human talent pool capable of utilising and developing first principles in science.
