GUWAHATI, June 6 - A group of five students from Rutgers University of USA have arrived in Jorhat at the Assam Agricultural University (AAU) to undergo their summer abroad study course on �Black tea production and marketing� to be offered by the Department of Tea Husbandry and Technology of AAU.
The 21-day-long course is the first of its kind offered by the institute to foreign students.
Dr Kamal Malla Bujarbaruah, Vice Chancellor of AAU, welcomed the American students on Monday, said a statement.
