GUWAHATI, July 14 - Anurag Buragohain and Janashree Saikia of Assam caused two major upsets in the boys U-14 and girls U-12 categories respectively in the OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis tournament being held at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Guwahati here today.
Anurag and Janashree moved to the quarterfinals by defeating 5th seed Jaishvin Singh Sidana 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 and 4th seed Sudipta Senthil Kumar in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 respectively.
In another upset, Yashraj S Dalvi of Maharashtra defeated 2nd seed Amrut Jay Mohanty of Orissa -7-5, 6-2 to move to the quarterfinals.
