UPSC achiever feted

BONGAIGAON, May 24 - The Bongaigaon Refinery (BGR) unit of Indian Oil Officers� Association (IOOA) felicitated its Assistant Technical Manager, Kumar Sunny Raj, for qualifying in the UPSC-2015 exam successfully at RCCC in BGR township in Chirang district today.

The officers of the refinery cheered his success and wished him a bright future in the felicitation programme.

In the same programme, students of Delhi Public School and BGR HS School had an interaction with Raj and placed many queries before him. Raj, who was himself inspired by an American Information Technology Entrepreneur, Steve Jobs, told the students to set high goals with dedication and hard work.

Raj had cleared the exam in his third attempt and bagged 368th position. But he has plans to reappear in the exam for better performance.

Chirang Deputy Commissioner Rupak Kumar Mazumdar, Superintendent of Police, Shankar Brata Raimedhi and Bijni Sub-divisional Officer, Oinma Sarankumar Singh were present as the guests in the programme.
