UPPL declares lists of candidates

KOKRAJHAR, March 16 - The United People�s Party Liberal (UPPL) today finalized the list of UPPL candidates for 22 BTC constituencies for the council election scheduled to be held on April 4 next.

The list includes former ABSU president and UPPL president Promod Boro from Goyabari BTC constituency and a woman candidate Pratibha Brahma from Baukhungri BTC constituency. In the list, the names of signatories of the recent Bodo Peace Accord and NDFB leader Gobinda Basumatary from Bhairabkunda BTCC and Ranjit Basumatary alias BR Ferenga from Chirang Duar BTC constituency were also included.

The names of the other candidates of UPPL announced today include Katiram Boro (Baganpara BTC constituency), Phanindra Basumatary (Darangajuli), Sushil Das (Nagrijuli), Pradip Boro (Suklai Serfang), Pabitra Kr Boro (Goreswar), Babulal Basumatary (Khwirabari), Dilip Boro (Khaling Duar), Rujugwra Mushahary (Dhanshri), Suresh Daimary (Manash Serfang), Guneswar Goyary (Subhaijhar), Nirmal Kr Brahma (Nichima), Rwngwra Narzary (Kajalgaon), Maoti Brahma Hazoary (Chirang), Jiron Basumatary (Jomduar), Sila Basumatary (Saraibil), Ukil Basumatary (Kachugaon), Jyatirandra Brahma (Dotma) and Buddha Dave Mushahary (Deborgaon BTC constituency).

Meanwhile, the UPPL this evening declared the second list of UPPL candidates for 16 BTC constituencies for the council election.

The names of the candidates UPPL announced this evening include Uttam Kr Hazoary (Parbatjhora), Monirul Islam (Guma), Nue Mahmod (Srirampur), Rabiram Brahma (Bonorgaon), Hitesh Muchahary (Salakati), Abu Sayed Anchari (Thuribari), Sahzahan Ali (Mothanguri), Binod Muchahary (Salbari), Jagodish Ramchiary (Dihira), Rakesh Bora (Mushalpur), Daobaisa Boro (Bhergaon), Krishna Giri (Nonwi Serfang), Anthony Basumatary (Mudwibari), Sanjoy Swargoyary (Mudwibari), Arun Kandopon (Pachnoi Serfang) and Dr Niud Swargoyary (Rowta).
