UDALGURI, Sept 25 - The 22nd edition of the Bodofa Upen Brahma Gold Cup Football Tournament will kick start on October 7, informed Maheswar Daimari, in-charge of the Referee Board of the tournament.
Around 12 teams, including defending champions Assam Rifles, Barhungkha FC of Kokrajhar, Gauhati AG FC, Siliguri SSB FC, Kahibari FC, Bodoland AC, New Model SC, Kabirali Adivashi Youth Club are likely to take part in the meet. The organisers are also contacting with teams from Sikkim, Meghalaya and West Bengal.
