SIVASAGAR, Jan 24: Dr Debasish Dulakakharia (35), who was a veterinary surgeon at the Sivasagar Veterinary Hospital and a very popular social worker of Mogarahat, Kalugaon, died yesterday in a road accident at Mankata Ali while returning home from work.
His body along with the scooty (AS04V 5625) were recovered from a ditch near the Pahugarh pool by local people some time after the accident. His scooty might have been knocked down by some vehicle. Though he was rushed to Sivasagar Civil Hospital, he was declared brought dead.
He leaves behind his wife, an infant son, his parents and a brother. His demise was widely mourned.
