ITANAGAR, April 18 - Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (H&UA) Durga Shanker Mishra along with Joint Secretary Kunal Kumar called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.
They discussed about the progress of various Central flagship programmes such as Smart City projects, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for All (Urban), PMAY-HFA (Urban), Swachh Bharat Mission, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM), etc.
During the meeting, the Governor emphasised on providing basic civic amenities to improve the quality of life for all, especially the poor and the disadvantaged. He said that focus must be on infrastructure creation for better services to the citizens and inclusive development.
