Silchar, March 24: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a visit to Barak Valley on March 26 to woo voters ahead of the second phase of Assembly election scheduled to be held on April 1.
According to Bimalendu Roy, BJP district president in-charge, the Union Home Minister will address two rallies in the valley-one at Patharkandi and another at Silchar.
"We are waiting to welcome the Union Home Minister on March 26 and preparations are going on in full swing," he told the media on Wednesday.
