KOKRAJHAR, Aug 20 - Chirang outplayed Nalbari 3-0 in the inaugural cluster match of the 9th All Assam Inter District Under-13 Football Championship for the Sujit Narzary Trophy at the Kokrajhar District Sports Association�s (KDSA) playground here today.
Udangsar Basumatary, Parameswar Brahma and Bishal Brahma scored a goal each for Chirang.
In other match, between Bongaigaon and Tamulpur, ended in a 2-2 draw. For Bongaigaon, Kalyan Narayan Dev and Sanu Murmu found the back of the net, while Nayandev Boro and H Boro scored for Tamulpur.
Hemandra Nath Brahma, president of the Assam Football Association; Doneswar Goyary, BTC Executive Member, Sports and Youth Welfare; Rajib Kr Brahma, EM of BTC and president of KDSA and Ajoy Kr Basumatary, general secretary, KDSA among others attended the inaugural function.
