KOKRAJHAR, April 3 - The 61st birth anniversary of the father of the Bodos �Bodofa� Upendra Nath Brahma was celebrated on Friday at his burial place Tulungapuri, Dotma in Kokrajhar with a daylong programme.
The programme began with the hoisting of the organisational flag by the ABSU president, Promod Boro which was followed by one minute silence and floral tribute at the portrait of UN Brahma.
Someswar Brahma, elder brother of the Bodofa, former Rajya Sabha MP UG Brahma, BTC MCLA Jyotirindra Nath Brahma and other leaders also attended the programme.
A meeting was held at the venue and a foundation stone was also laid to construct a children�s library at Boragari village, the birth place of Brahma on the occasion.
