UDALGURI, Nov 5 - Dwimalu Club of Sastrapara, Udalguri entered the second round of the silver jubilee edition of the Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Gold Cup Football Tournament by edging past local outfit New Model FC 1-0 in the inaugural match today.
The first half ended goalless but after the break, Dwimalu boys changed their strategy and started raiding the opponent territory. Bilson Daimary scored the winning goal in the 73rd minute. Earlier, Mazbat MLA Charan Boro inaugurated the tournament in the presence of PHE Minister Rihon Daimari and Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri Dilip Kumar Das.
