GUWAHATI, May 21 � Nazira defeated Barpeta by six wickets while Dibrugarh trounced Bongaigaon in the Umananda Bora Trophy U-13 Inter District Cricket tournamentat the Nehru Stadium here today.
Barpeta were all out for 71 in 22.1 overs after batting first in the morning match and Nazira took 11.5 overs to overtake the Barpeta total losing four wickets.
In the afternoon match, Dibrugarh amassed 135 for four in the stipulated 25 overs and restricted Bongaigaon for 92 in 24 overs.
With today�s victories, Dibrugarh is through to the last-four stage and Nazira entered the second round.
