IMPHAL, June 27 - Security forces arrested a militant from the Langthel Kangjeibung area in Thoubal district on Wednesday, a senior police officer said.
SP S Ibomcha said a combined team of the police and the Assam Rifles arrested an active member of the proscribed militant outfit, Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL), from the district.
The security forces on Monday had arrested an active cadre of the banned militant outfit, Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP)-Maoist group, from Pungdongbam area in Imphal East district, a press release stated on Wednesday. � PTI
