GUWAHATI, Sept 25 - Police apprehended a member of the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA-I) Mithu Chutia alias Diganta Asom, 21, at Maligaon this evening.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Suprotive Lal Baruah, Diganta joined the ULFA-I in 2017 and took arms training in Myanmar. He had entered Guwahati a few days ago.
A mobile phone and incriminating documents were seized from him. Senior police officials are interrogating the person at the Jalukbari Police Station.
