GUWAHATI, June 16 - A seven-member delegation of the United Karate-Do Association, Assam (UKAA), led by working president Bhuban Lahkar called on the State Sports Minister Naba Kumar Doley at his resident here today and accorded a warm felicitation.
The Sports Minister, who was also a karateka, discussed with the delegation regarding the present status of the game of karate in Assam and agreed to provide all possible support for the promotion of the event, a release said.
