GUWAHATI, April 5 � Udit Gogoi of Assam clinched double crown in the U-12 AITA Championship Series Tournament.
On the concluding day of the championship at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, here today, Udit won both boys� single and doubles titles. In the girls� event Janashree Saikia of Assam lifted the crown defeating State mate Ishika Chakma.
Udit defeated top seed Assam boy Kritanta Sarma 6-2, 6-4. Partnering with Kritanta, Udit got the better of Bengal duo Rounak Ghosh-Aonjaneya Banerjee 4-0, 4-0.
