KALAIGAON, May 31 - Subham Patar of Arunodoi Academy in Tangla has brought laurels to Udalguri district by securing 14th rank in the HSLC examination.
He scored 572 marks. Jubilant students took to the streets along with Subham after announcement of the HSLC results. Nabin Chandra Boro, Inspector of Schools of Udalguri, Napolean Daimari, Principal of Arunodoi Academy, Tangla and Pranabjyoti Das, Principal of Arunodoi Junior College,Tangla congratulated Subham for his success. It may be pertinent to mention here that students of Arunodoi Academy, Tangla have performed very well in this year�s HSLC examination by registering 100 per cent success.
Besides Subham, 7 other students passed with distinction marks, 5 with star marks, 28 in first division, 18 in second division and none in third division.
Subham, it may be mentioned, is the son of Dulal Patar and school teacher Minati Patar of Tangla.
