GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - The Udalguri District Body Building Association under the aegis of All Assam Body Building Association (AABBA) will organise the 28th Mr Assam Body Building Championship at Udalguri on December 16 and 17.
Addressing the media here today, PHE Minister Rihon Daimari, who is also the president of the organising committee said, �There will seven categories including Mr Assam, Junior Mr Assam, Masters Mr Assam, Man Fitness, Miss Fitness, Mixed Pair and Physically Challenged. The first three winners in each group will receive cash prize, trophy and certificates.�
In the senior category events will be held in seven weight categories while in the junior category, events will be held in five weight categories. Miss Fitness will be held in two weight categories.
�Around 150 participants are likely to feature in the championship. The overall winner of the Mr Assam will be awarded a motorcycle while the Junior Mr Assam will walk away with one LED television. The winners in the Miss Fitness, Mixed Pair, Man Fitness and Physically Challenged category will be rewarded with cash and attractive gifts,� said Manoranjan Sarma, secretary, AABBA.
