UDALGURI, July 31 - Students of the Udalguri district shined in the recently concluded second Olympic National Games held at Karaikal in Puducherry by winning seven medals in the discipline of wushu.

The students clinched three gold, two silver and two bronze medals in the meet held from July 24 to July 27.

The medal winners: Egible Daimari, Sumit Mochahari and Musui Tudu (gold), Lucky Daimari and Dhaneswar Basumatary (silver), Jubita Boro, Suniram Tudu (bronze).

The players were given a warm reception here yesterday. The gold and silver medallists were qualified to play in the next first ever Asian level Students Olympic Games.
