GUWAHATI, Jan 20 - Uber, the smartphone app that has transformed the way people move around in cities, today launched its new product UberX in Guwahati with singer Angaraag Mahanta, better known as Papon being the first rider to experience the
product.
Uber launched its services in Guwahati in August 2015, with uberGO as its first service offering. With the launch of UberX, the company plans to expand its offering to include sedans and give riders an added option to an affordable ride at the tap of a button.
Arpit Mundra, general manager, Uber Guwahati, said, �We are thrilled by the growth and positive response we�ve seen in Guwahati. With the launch of UberX, we will be giving our riders another premium option to get around town comfortably in a sedan with top notch service, and at an affordable price.
