TURA, Sept 11 The body of the slain deputy commander-in-chief of UALA Jagring Marak was recovered in the jungles of Dajugre in West Garo Hills after he was shot dead by his own cadres late on Monday.
He had in fact sent SMSes to a few of his friends and family about his being shot and that he was on the verge of dying after being shot by new members of his outfit.
A police team went to the site after receiving information of the shooting from sources. The locals led the police team to the site which turned out to be a camp of the outfit. According to sources the camp where the militants were hiding consisted of four-five tents.
SP, West Garo Hills Mukesh Singh said, We believe the body to be that of Jagring. He was shot by his own cadres and buried after his death.
