HAILAKANDI, May 21 - Lala police of Hailakandi district on Monday arrested two Rohingiya from Dholcherra. The officer-in-charge of Lala police station, Liton Nath informed that they were arrested in connection with a case number 252/19 under Section 120(b)/212 IPC, Section 14(a)of the Foreigners (Amendment) 2004, 3 of the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1920, rule 6 of the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1950.
Nath informed that they got the information from secret sources that a suspected boy and a girl is staying in a house of Dholcherra in Assam-Mizoram border area of Hailakandi district and police team from Lala arrested them.
He said that they came from Guwahati with help of a tout. He said investigation is on.
