Two NFR officers test COVID-19 positive

GUWAHATI, June 22 - Two officers of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) headquarters, Maligaon, have tested positive for COVID-19.

Aneet Dulat, Principal Chief Commercial Manager of NFR, and Ajit Baishya, Office Superintendent (Mechanical department) of NFR HQ, have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Dulat�s younger son, who is a minor, has also tested positive for COVID-19.

�Baishya has been admitted to the Govt Ayurvedic and Hospital, Jalukbari, while Dulat and his son have been shifted to the GMCH.

Their conditions are stable,� said Nripen Bhattacharya, Public Relations Officer of NFR. None of the persons who have tested positive has any known travel history, he said.
