Two held with gold biscuits in rectum

SILCHAR, July 14 - In a major catch, officials of the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) at Silchar Airport nabbed two passengers with gold biscuits today.

A senior CISF official told The Assam Tribune, �the passengers identified as Barkat Khan and Rijender Sirav were about to board Jet Airways flight 9W 0992 from Silchar to Delhi in the afternoon.�

�During frisking, both the passengers were found carrying 5 pieces of gold biscuits each, weighing 1,600 gm apiece. The biscuits were taken out from their rectum in the presence of officials from Customs Department, Airports Authority of India and local police. The recovered items were handed over to the Customs authorities. The two persons have been taken into police custody.�
