GUWAHATI, Sept 25 (PTI): Two hardcore NDFB militants were caught in a joint operation by Assam Police and CRPF personnel here today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of the police and CRPF's 128 Battalion nabbed the two militants from a bus en route to Dimapur in Nagaland from Shillong in Meghalaya.
The duo, who had entered Meghalaya from Bangladesh recently, have been identified as Rana Brahma alias Birendra Brahma and Bijoy Brahma alias Badpha.
An US-made 7.56 pistol with four bullets and a SIM card were seized from them.
