NAGAON, April 28 - Nagaon town police arrested two drugs mafia in two separate incidents and also seized a huge quantity of drugs from their possession.
According to sources, the nabbed persons have been identified as Saiful Islam of Fancy Road and Dipu Ahmed of Gurustan near Christianpatty of the town. Police seized 904 spasmodon tablets and other syrup from their possession.
Sources added that town police had intelligence inputs about transaction of drugs for quite sometime now in Fancy Road by Saiful. On the other hand, one Palash Bharali of Gurustan lodged an FIR in the police station against Dipu for secret trading in illegal drugs.
Nagaon town police led by Sub-Inspector G Mahanta and based on the complaint as well as secret information launched two separate drives and nabbed the duo, the source added.
