JORABAT, April 25 - The two-day 15th Karbi Domahi, a traditional festival and sports event, which was held at Fonh Aari, Chamata near Sonapur, concluded late last night.
Hundreds of people from the entire Dimoria region and the State took part in the two-day event.
Various cultural items and folk dances of the Karbi tribe and other communities of the State were performed on both the days. Traditional dishes like pork prepared in traditional Karbi style were offered to the participants at the festival.
A traditional sports competition was also organised during the festival, in which youths from the area took part enthusiastically.
Both the evenings were marked by performances by well-known artistes.
