GUWAHATI, June 27 - The Department of Yogic Science and Naturopathy of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankardeva Viswavidyalaya is organising the All Assam Yoga Convention and Seminar in its Rupnagar campus here on June 30 and July 1.
The seminar along with the convention will create a platform to discuss and acknowledge the different yoga forms and developments in different parts of Assam as well as for the research scholars and academicians, who are working in the field of yoga and naturopathy to share their experiences.
A state-level yogasana competition will also be held on this occasion for college and university students.
Many distinguished personalities related to yoga will take part in the programme. All are requested to participate in this event to make it great success, stated BN Phukan, head of the department and convener, in a press release issued here today.
