GUWAHATI, April 29 - The Fatasil Ambari Police Station personnel on Wednesday apprehended two cops - Sravan Kumar Jha and Sanjoy Jha - on charges of illegally transporting a huge amount of gold and cash.
Both of them were nabbed during a routine checking on the road.
Senior police officials said Sravan is a constable of the Government Railway Police at the Guwahati railway station and Sanjoy is a constable with the Panbazar Police Station traffic branch. A case has been registered against them.
