DOOMDOOMA , May 19 - The Tinsukia District Handball Association (TDHA) felicitated twelve handball players of the district who had recently passed the Class 10th Board Examination at a brief function here today.

The felicitation programme was chaired by the vice president of TDHA Govinda Phookan. Addressing the gathering, Assam Handball Association (AHA) vice president and the president of TDHA Lalit Gogoi, Doomdooma Handball Association president Shankar Das, sports organiser Deben Deka, veteran player and football referee Manoj Gogoi, Asom Moran Sabha vice president Rajib Bora, environmentalist Dr Sanjay Gupta, journalist Abhijit Khataniar, handball player Arjun Moran and several others congratulated the students on their success and urged them to work hard in the days to come.

The programme was anchored by TDHA general secretary Sah Miruj and was also attended by AHA assistant secretary Mamu Khanikar Begum, TDHA joint secretary Durlav Gohain and Manoj Sharma, among others.
