GUWAHATI, April 17 � The Kaapro 28th KC Deka Memorial Open Incentive Table Tennis Championship got under way at the ABITA Indoor Stadium here this morning.
Altogether 151 players from places like Guwahati, Jorhat, Nagaon, Sivasagar, Duliajan are participating in the championship where competitions have been conducted in mini, sub junior and veterans groups.
The executive council member of the Assam Table Tennis Association, D Srutikar was present as chief guest in the opening ceremony.
The pre-quarter final matches of all the groups were held to day while all the remaining matches will be played tomorrow.
