SILCHAR, July 1 � Pranabananda Das, former secretary and member of the Table Tennis Club, Udharbondh informed that Avijit Roy Choudhury, level II coach of International Table Tennis Federation will be here to train 15 budding TT players, 11 of whom are learners of the club from July 8-17.
Das said that the club has urged the Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) to orgainis a coaching camp for the local players here but there has been no response from ATTA so far.
�Besides the inter-district tournament, it is largely disappointing to see lack of interest from the State table tennis association for developing the game and giving budding players an opportunity to learn,� Das added.
