JALUKBARI, July 17 - Police are searching for a truck driver identified as Zakir Hussain (35), a resident of Dhubri who has been missing from ISBT, Gorchuk, since June 17 last.
Gorchuk police station sources said that Zakir, who was working as a driver of a transport company from Andhra Pradesh, went missing mysteriously from the premises of ISBT on June 17. It was initially presumed that he had gone to Andhra Pradesh to deliver goods, but, when he did not return even after a month, members of his family today lodged an FIR at the police station.
Investigation is on, the sources added.
