GUWAHATI, Aug 9 - Promising Assam paddler Trisha Gogoi made a cut into the Indian team which will fly to Myanmar to take part in the 24th Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship to be held from August 13 to 18.

Stating this in an Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) release, secretary Tridib Duvarah stated that Trisha has been selected for the Indian sub-junior team along with Munmun Kundu of Kolkata and Diya Parag Chitale of Mumbai.

The Table Tennis Federation of India selected Trisha considering her consistency at the national and international circuit. She has already represented India in tournaments held in countries including the Czech Republic, Maldives, Thailand, Jordan, among others.

ATTA president Mriganka Barman, secretary Duvarah congratulated Trisha on behalf of all office bearers.
