GUWAHATI, July 23 - Rising table tennis player of Assam, Trisha Gogoi has been selected to represent the Indian team in the World Junior Circuit Jordan Junior and Cadet Open TT Championship, to be held at Amman from July 25 to 29.
Trisha has already represented the Indian team in international championships held in countries like the Czech Republic, Maldives and Bangkok. This time her selection was based on her performances at the international and domestic tournaments held during last year.
Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) president Mriganka Barman and secretary Tridib Duvarah congratulated Trisha for her achievement on behalf of the organisation.
ATTA meet: An executive committee meeting of the ATTA will be held on July 30 at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 11 am.
