AGARTALA, Oct 4 - At least 322 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Tripura, pushing the tally in the State to 26,874, a Health Department official said today.
The death toll rose to 290 with four more people succumbing to the infection, he said.
West Tripura district, of which State capital Agartala is a part, has accounted for 157 of the 290 COVID-19 deaths.
Tripura currently has 5,174 active coronavirus cases, while 21,387 people have recovered from the disease.
Twenty-three patients have migrated to other States, the official said.
According to the official, 513 patients were discharged from the GB Pant Hospital on Saturday, the State�s main referral hospital for COVID-19.
As many as 3,98,612 samples have been tested for the disease in the State so far, he added. � PTI
