AGARTALA, April 8 - Asserting that the BJP is on the way to win both the Lok Sabha constituencies in Tripura, Chief Minister Bilab Kumar Deb on Monday called upon the voters to forfeit the deposit of the opponents to teach them a lesson.

He said this while addressing an election rally at Rajnagar in South Tripura district.

The Chief Minister also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modis success in uplifting the living condition of the common people. He did everything for the welfare of poor people. If you vote for Modi, he will continue to perform better, he said.

In his speech, Deb also made a mention of Sundays mega rally addressed by the Prime Minister at Udaipur in Gomati district. It is the Prime Minister who has publicly reiterated that he would provide HIRA (Highway/Internet/Railway/Airway to the State. If HIRA is implemented, then the face of Tripura will be completely different, he said amidst cheers from the crowd.

In his last leg of campaign for the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency which will go to poll on April 11, Deb also sharply criticised the Congress and the Communists for not having a Prime Ministerial candidate.

They are very much active to oust Narendra Modi but they dont have a replacement yet! Dont give them vote in the Parliamentary elections to fulfill their illusion, he added.
