AGARTALA, March 17 - The five-day budget session of the Tripura Assembly will commence from March 20. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma will table the budget for 2020-21 on the first day of the session.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) has cleared the business for the budget session. Three Bills will be presented in the House during the brief session. The members will get three days for discussion on the budget.
�If any unforeseen development unfolds in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the BAC will sit again to take a final call after exploring all aspects. If the situation demands, the session may be suspended midway,� the minister said.
