GUWAHATI, Dec 13 � Renowned international table tennis player Tridib Duvarah, who is also the general secretary of Assam Table Tennis Association and joint secretary of Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), has been invited by India Community Center (ICC), San Francisco, to felicitate him for his contribution to table tennis in India, as well as in Assam. Tridib will leave for the US on December 18.
A winter TT coaching camp has been organised by ICC at California from December 20 to December 31 under the guidance of ITTF�s Massimo Constantini. On this occasion, the governing body of ICC will felicitate Tridib. As a special gesture, ICC has also invited Tridib�s wife Panchali Baruah Duvarah.
It may be mentioned here that Tridib has been the manager of the Indian table tennis team in the past six World Championships. As a player he represented the country in USA, UK, Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sweden.
This felicitation programme is indeed a great honour for Oil India Limited where he is presently employed as deputy manager (PR&C), and also for Assam.
