GUWAHATI, Nov 6 - Pubali Sangha, a city-based organisation for women and children, paid tributes to Dr Bhupen Hazarika on Saturday on the occasion of the maestro�s fifth death anniversary, said a press release today. Offering of floral tributes, lighting of lamps and presentation of Dr Hazarika�s songs marked the programme.
The fifth death anniversary of the music icon was also observed by the Sachal branch of the Asam Sahitya here on Saturday. The observance was marked with offering of floral tributes to the maestro, lighting of earthen lamps and presentation of his songs, stated another press release today.
