GUWAHATI, Aug 5 - The Kamrup Metro district administration today organised a tribute-paying programme at the Navagraha crematorium here on the occasion of the 70th death anniversary of Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi, the first chief minister of Assam.
Taking part in the event, Guwahati Development Department Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya recalled Gopinath Bordoloi�s immense contributions to the State.
DC Biswajit Pegu, the late Bordoloi�s son Bolin Bordoloi and other members of the family were present at the programme.
