Tributes paid to former Manipur Minister

HEIROK (MANIPUR), Dec 7 - Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh on Monday said that violence will not bring any solution adding people want peace not violence. Ibobi was speaking at the 21st death anniversary of Ex-Minister Moirangthem Ibotombi at Heirok village, about 40 km from here.

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, Health Minister Phungzathang Tonsing, Commerce and Industries Minister Gobindas Konthoujam and others also attended the programme.

Earlier, thousands of people including the Chief Minister and top officials paid floral tributes to late M Ibotombi.
