GUWAHATI, Dec 10 - People of Hatigaon area here in collaboration with the All Guwahati Students� Union and artiste fraternity of Assam, will hold a tribute programme for anti-CAA martyrs of Assam on December 12 on the Hatigaon High School premises.
Notably, 17-year-old Sam Stafford, a resident of the area, sacrificed his life on December 12 last year when security personnel opened fire during an anti-CAA protest programme near the Hatigaon Namghar. A number of protesters had also received multiple injuries in that incident.
