Tribal Sanghas call to Bodo body

By Correspondent

BONGAIGAON, Dec 14 - All Assam Tribal Sangha has expressed its unwillingness to engage in a war of words with the Bodoland Janajati Suraksha Manch in the larger interest of tribals and called upon the latter to stop making insulting remarks about its leaders before ascertaining the facts.

The Sangha is going to organise its three-day 37th triennial general conference at Borobazar under the Bijni subdivision of Chirang district from December 19.

But recently, leaders of the Manch had criticised Sangha general secretary Aditya Khaklary by allegedly using objectionable words and making allegations against him in the print media, which have hurt leaders and workers of the Sangha, Sukumar Basumatary of the Chirang district unit of the Sangha said.

The Chirang district unit leaders have called upon the Bodoland Janajati Suraksha Manch to come to the dais of the Sangha conference at Borobazar if it has anything to say about the activities of All Assam Tribal Sangha.
