GUWAHATI, Sept 11 � A travel show made by young Barun Kashyap Bhuyan of Guwahati for �MTV Chase the Monsoon 2� has won the �Best Travel Show� in Indian Television Awards. He was the producer and cinematographer of the show.
It was a travel show which involved four teams travelling from the Rann of Kutch to Cherrapunjee on bikes and discovering the diversity in heritage, culture, nature and cuisine of the country.
Barun made his Guwahati episode on Dr Bhupen Hazarika � his mentor and inspiration � which was well appreciated by MTV.
Barun, who is a music and theatre enthusiast, is the son of Rumi Bhuyan and the late Tapan Kumar Bhuyan of Chandmari, Guwahati.
