GUWAHATI, June 3 � The Lions Club of Guwahati conducted a staff training programme at Don Bosco Provincial House for �Child Friendly Guwahati� � an initiative of Don Bosco Society working for the underprivileged children of Guwahati city � in collaboration with NGO Manas, a press release said.
The speakers, including Fr VM Thomas, provincial of Selesian Don Bosco; Kiran Francis, manager of South Indian Bank; and Fr Lukose Cheruvalel, director of Snehalaya, stressed the need for understanding adolescents, their behavioural changes and teachers/classroom attitude towards them.
