DOOMDOOMA , Jan 16 - Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Tinsukia in association with Trinayan Youth Club ( TYC ) and Sarathi Youth Club ( SYC ) organised a three-day training programme on Youth Leadership and Community Development ( TYLCDP ) at Me-Dum-Me-Phi Community Hall situated at Tapobon , Rupai Siding here recently.
Over 50 youths across the district participated in the training programme.
Besides various aspects of leadership , the youths were imparted training on Indian culture and tradition, Indian villages, Panchayati Raj, moral values, civic education, reduction of poverty, yoga as a way of life, communication skill, digital India, use of IT and social media , qualities of good citizenship etc. The trainings were provided by NYK resource person Mukunda Bora, Assistant Professor of the department of political science, Tinsukia College Jayanta Bora, assistant teacher of Kakopothar Shankardev Sishu Vidya Niketan Banamali Bora, journalist Abhijit Khataniar, faculty of SIPRD, Dibrugarh Nipen Hazarika , headmaster of Tongona Girls�M E School Alakhit Moran and ex-NYK and Child Line team member Rupam Das as resource persons.
