GUWAHATI, Sept 15 - To cater to the increasing demand for berths by passengers during the ensuing Durga Puja, Christmas and New Year holiday season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to continue with the service of 06335/06336 Guwahati-Kochuveli (Trivandrum) weekly special for another four months till January 2016.

Accordingly, the 06335 Guwahati-Kochuveli weekly special train will continue to leave Guwahati every Wednesday till January 27, 2016.

During the return journey, the 06336 Kochuveli-Guwahati weekly special train will leave Kochuveli every Sunday till January 24, 2016.

The special train will, however, not touch Chennai during its journey, NFR Chief PRO PJ Sharma said.

Meanwhile, NFR has added two chair car coaches on a permanent basis to the 15927/15928 Tri-weekly express and 05967/05968 special train running between Rangiya and Dibrugarh as part of an exercise to provide better comfort to passengers.
