GUWAHATI, Aug 15 - Indian Railways has taken steps to prevent any untoward incidents at trains ahead of the Independence Day. As part of it, passenger trains at various sections have started to move in convoys from 6 pm today, said an NFR official. The sections where this precaution has been taken are Fakiragram-Dhubri, Bongaigaon-Kamakhya, Bongaigaon-Goalpara and Guwahati-Dibrugarh.
In addition, the Rajdhani Express trains are being escorted by goods trains.
